Startups with innovative hardware solutions can apply to participate in Infineon’s “Startup Challenge” if their developments are related to one or more of the following priority areas.

Priority Areas:

Digital Twins

System simulations, including solutions using ISAAC Sim and Omniverse.

Artificial Skin and Hand

Solutions based on pressure sensors, capacitive, inductive, and magnetic sensors.

Environmental sensors

Image processing via EdgeAI, radar technologies, and sensor fusion.

Visual feedback

Solutions for displaying intent via motion and/or laser scanning.

Motor control

Advanced motion control solutions.

As part of the initiative, 24 innovative startups will be pre-selected to present their ideas to the public during Silicon Saxony Days in Dresden on June 17. From these, 12 startups will be chosen to continue their participation in the challenge.

The selected startups will receive technical support from Infineon, Würth Elektronik, and Rutronik, as well as the opportunity to participate in a summer school featuring business coaching and presentation training—both online and in-person—with the participation of partners from the innovation ecosystem.

The preparation will culminate in a Demo Day during EBSCON in Graz on October 6, where the startups will have the opportunity to present their solutions to investors, partners from the electronics industry, and representatives of the startup ecosystem.

Applications are open until May 27 via the Infineon website. When submitting your application, please indicate that you learned about the challenge through the Eureka Investment Readiness program -https://www.eurekanetwork.org/programmes-and-calls/investment-readiness/infineon-online-session/
