Fast Track to the EIC Accelerator is a Eureka scheme designed to support innovative start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and small mid-caps that have completed, or are about to complete, a Eurostars-3-funded project and are ready to take the next step towards scaling up their innovation.

The scheme provides eligible companies with a fast-track route to the EIC Accelerator, allowing successful applicants to skip the first application stage (short proposal) and proceed directly to the second stage (full proposal).

Through the Fast Track evaluation process, applicants receive expert feedback on their innovation and business concept. The highest-scoring applicants may also be invited to pitch their project to a panel of EIC experts. Companies receiving a positive GO decision are subsequently invited by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) to submit a full proposal to the EIC Accelerator.

The EIC Accelerator supports start-ups, SMEs and small mid-caps in scaling up high-impact innovations with the potential to create new markets or disrupt existing ones.

The Fast Track to the EIC Accelerator is part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs, co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.

Specific eligibility requirements, application procedures and deadlines apply to each Fast Track call.
