Eurostars is a funding instrument designed to support innovative small and medium-sized enterprises and their partners—large companies, universities, research organizations, and other entities—in carrying out international collaborative research, development, and innovation projects. Through their participation, organizations gain access to public funding for international projects in various fields of research and development. The National Innovation Fund (NIF) acts as the state aid administrator in its capacity as the national funding institution.

Through participation in Eurostars, organisations gain access to public funding for international collaborative R&D and innovation projects across all sectors and fields.

Eligibility and Project Requirements

To successfully apply for Eurostars funding, applicants must:

define a clear and well-structured project idea
engage in international collaboration by sharing expertise and know-how
develop products, processes, or services with strong potential for commercialisation
Application Process

Interested applicants may submit their project proposals for research, development, and innovation under Eurostars-3 – Call 8 within the period from 17 November 2025 until 14:00 CET on 27 November 2025, using the official Eurostars project platform.
