The Bulgarian National Innovation Fund would like to inform all interested companies, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, research organisations, and other eligible applicants that the timeline and call text for the 12th call under the Eurostars-3 programme have been officially approved by the Eureka Network. Eurostars is a funding instrument that supports innovative SMEs and project partners (large companies, universities, research organisations, and other types of organisations) by funding international collaborative research, development and innovation (R&D&I) projects. Through participation in Eurostars, organisations can gain access to public funding for international collaborative R&D projects across all sectors and technology fields.
To successfully apply for Eurostars, you should:
- Define your project idea.
- Collaborate internationally and share expertise.
- Develop products, processes, or services with strong commercialization potential.
Your project consortium must be led by an innovative SME, but it may also include other types of organizations such as large companies, universities, research organizations, and other entities.
Once the submission deadline for call 11 has passed, we will publish call 12 on the EPMP and submit it to the Funding and Tender Portal. We will also organise a webinar for applicants in January 2027.
We kindly ask you to review the funding information for your country on our website (for both calls 11 and 12) and inform us if any update is needed. We stress the importance of keeping these pages up to date. The forms to request changes through our Marketing & Communications department are:

You can submit your Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) project application between 17 December 2026 and 4 March 2027, 14:00 (Brussels time), using the project platform (myeurekaproject.org).
Call 12 funding information:
We have been informed that Cyprus, Italy (MIMIT) and Israel will not allocate budget for call 12.
Organisations from these countries will be able to participate in a Eurostars project on a self-funding basis.
